Specials Breast Badges 

 

Prior to the amalgamation of areas within Kent in 1991 All officers used to wear Kent County Constabulary plastic breast badges in silver red and blue enamel with their force number  on a plate  underneath. The Special Constabulary were issued with this badge  but they wore the number of the division they were issued with.  the divisional number DC21 on the base plate. S.C No. 21 in Folkestone sub-division After the amalgamation they were issued with their own force numbers of their own to wear on the base plate, all 17000 and above I have a plastic version of this badge with the number 17199 on it and a newer metal version with the number 17752 on the base plates.
